CALIFORNIA, U.S. - Two more Twitter Vice Presidents have decided to leave the company causing more concerns for the company at a time when it is trying new things to lure more users.
Reports revealed on Saturday that Twitter VPs in charge of finance and live video engineering are leaving the company and added that the decision was announced internally this week.
Twitter’s VP of finance, Celia Poon and an engineering VP running the tech side of Twitter’s live video efforts Jeremy Rishel will reportedly be leaving the company.
Poon, who has been with Twitter for more than four years, and reported directly to CFO-turned-COO Anthony Noto, will reportedly be staying on through August.
She is said to have started helping with some of the company’s CFO duties when Noto first announced he was taking over the COO role.
Earlier, reports had quoted sources within the company as saying that her name was suggested as a possible CFO replacement. However, a source has now stated that she has been transitioning out for months, while another Twitter VP in charge of corporate finance, David Aufderhaar, will take over for Poon once she departs.
Meanwhile, Rishel, who joined Twitter in 2013, when the company acquired social analytics company Bluefin Labs, has had a number of engineering roles inside Twitter.
He was most recently running engineering for its live video product, reporting to Periscope CEO Kayvon Beykpour.
Rishel’s last day in the company is Friday.
The high-level departures come at a time when Twitter is still looking for a replacement for a CFO in place of Noto, who has been managing two jobs.
It also comes as Twitter’s live video push is seen to be the company’s most important product initiative in recent time.
At the same time, the company has filled a few key roles in the past few months, including Todd Swidler, a former Bloomberg exec who has joined the social networking site to run live video partnerships in May.
Twitter also brought an ad tech executive, Bruce Falck on board to run the company’s advertising products in May.
